I am blown away by who Jesus is and how He sees me. I am constantly amazed at how much He loves me and how much He cares about people. I grew up on a farm in Iowa, gave my life to Christ at age 9, went to a Christian college where I received a call into student ministry, and met my amazing wife. My wife and I are blessed with three awesome kids – Hannah, Hailey, and Zach. We have gotten the gift of leading youth ministries in Michigan, Minnesota, Kentucky, and Nebraska and have seen 100s of student give their lives to Christ and dozens of students stepping into callings into ministry.

I enjoy basketball, volleyball, hanging out with my family, working outside, working out, NCAA basketball (go CATS!), and a good cup of coffee. I am passionate about helping students and those called to student ministry to see Jesus clearly and respond to what He tells them. I believe that this generation of students are poised more than any other generation to impact this world for Christ and I believe that Jesus is calling leaders to step forward and help unleash these students into their callings.

    People are People

When we told people we were moving to Las Vegas, we routinely received the response, “Well people in Las Vegas really need Jesus.”  Many times there was an underlying insinuation that people in Las Vegas were different, were maybe more sinful. We had never thought about people’s biases and how they would affect how they…
